Symptom: After about an hour of operation with the lights on the VIC would indicate a "LAMP FAILURE". Uppon surveying all lamps none were out or dim.
It took quite a while before I found out what was happening. Actually
I found the problem when installing a towing harness.
Just inside on the back (called the "D Pillar") there is a six pin connector.
Odds are one of the pins has corroded and is only making connection
every now and then.
